What's on at Left Bank

Friday 5th March – Thursday 11th March - "1984 /2010" Art Exhibition

"1984 / 2010" is a student led, interdisciplinary exhibition, that seeks to raise awareness and probe questions into the surveillance culture in which we have unwittingly become immersed.

Aiming to engage the public in discourse about ideas of privacy, freedom, rationalism, religion, and how we are governed by them, in both private and civic life, this should be a thought-provoking experience.

A free exhibition, open 12pm - 5.30pm each day.

Why is he so, so good? Just listen to his music – almost unbelievably beautiful ever shifting swathes of sound and emotion, sounds that sound like they’ve been waiting to be discovered rather than made…"

WRAP UP WARM - even though we're coming into Spring, it could still be a bit chilly in March and April. We’ve got some portable heaters but there’s no proper heating system for the building yet, so make sure you're nicely wrapped up!

LEAVE YOUR CAR AT HOME, if at all possible. If you do come by car, please
park in the street and not in the Cardigan Centre’s car park next door.
For public transport options, see our location page.
