Film Screening of Gremlins with Hyde Park Picture House

We’re excited to be screening Gremlins at Left Bank as part of a trio of fantastic festive films in partnership with our neighbours at the wonderful Hyde Park Picture House. The tickets are Pay as You Feel to ensure anyone who wants to come will be able to join us. Our bar will be open before the screening and we'll be stocking up mince pies and mulled wine.

As well as Gremlins, we're also screening Elf and The Apartment.

US, 1984, 106mins, Cert.12A

Three rules: no water, no bright light and never any food after midnight.

A well-meaning father finds what seems to be the perfect Christmas gift in a mysterious shop in Chinatown. Thrilled with his adorable new pal, Billy (Zach Galligan) was given three simple rules to follow when looking after it. It doesn't take long for the rules to be broken, as the once harmless creature spawns Gremlin babies and all manner of mayhem is let loose upon the small town of Kensington Falls.

A brilliant 1980s horror-comedy celebrating 35 years since its release. As savagely funny as ever, Joe Dante's Yuletide themed Gremlins is perfect for the winter months!
