Neoclassical composer/pianist Larkhall brings classical virtuosity to his “vividly beautiful work”, weaving technology into his live performance through computer-generated visuals created algorithmically from his music as he plays.
This course takes a hands-on, dive-right-in approach to creative coding. From the very beginning, participants learn by doing, making simple, visual, interactive scenes right away.
Using the same software Larkhall uses for his own live visuals, you'll make things spin, glow, warp, and sparkle as you learn about rendering, lighting, textures and more.
Suitable for anyone with basic computer skills, i.e. typing, using a mouse/trackpad.
****Participants will need to bring their own laptop for the workshop.
