Left Banks Community Vegetable Garden | Open Volunteer Session

Come on down get your hands dirty and reconnect with nature. Help us shape our new Community Garden Space and learnt how to grow your own food. We'll provide all the necessary tools, so you can dive right in and contribute to our thriving vegetable garden. These sessions are open to anyone looking for a green space to grow in, or even just a break from your day. Bring along your friends or make some new ones!

Why Volunteer?

By volunteering in our community garden, you'll be supporting local sustainability efforts and promoting healthy living. We are looking for our volunteers to help shape this new space, and create an area for all to use. Volunteers will be encouraged to feedback on what they would like from the space, and with the help of Leah, our Community and Arts Coordinator, develop the site into a flourishing and productive garden.

Outside of our Vegetable Garden we are also looking for help in maintaining our Pocket Park, including weeding and planting up to keep our space looking as amazing as possible!

Any volunteers will be rewarded with a free hot drink for their efforts, the perfect opportunity to catch up and plan the to do list for the next week!

"The community garden is an excellent opportunity for people of different ages, ethnic groups and abilities to come together in the fresh air and contribute to the community. I myself am physically disabled but was made to feel very useful. The leader Leah is welcoming to all and very friendly. I love going along and contributing in my own way" -  Clare, Volunteer
