We’re really excited to share the news about Welcome Festival!
It’s our way of saying a big hello from LS6, with a month-long programme of ace events, parties and workshops running from 14 September to 17th October. And everyone’s invited! Whether you’re brand new the area or have lived here for life, we want to celebrate all that’s great about LS6 and the creative, great stuff that happens here.
Alongside our regular and much-loved lineup including Wednesday Creative Takeovers, See You Naked Mondays and our LS6 Junk Yard Sale, we’ve got some very special events. Some are ticketed, others are PAYF or free! We always recommend booking in advance to make sure you don’t miss out.

Drag Tea with Charra Tea & Friends
Join us for a fabulous Afternoon Tea with our pal Charra Tea alongside her friends Queen Deville and Drag King Chafe-de-Fyes.
When these fabulous gals and their king aren't working the room, they’ll entertain you with some amazing lip-sync performances. Tickets include a welcome cocktail; drinks and afternoon tea including classic (not classy) cake will be on the menu throughout the event!

Welcome to a night for the sober curious (and curiouser)!
Queen of Hearts aka Charra Tea is back to host a fabulous fun-filled, alcohol-free night down the rabbit hole.
Activities include:

Moving In Market
Join us for the launch of our new season of monthly night markets, all the sweeter now we are welcoming LOADS of new pals into our neighbourhood. This is an ace evening session with over 20 local artists and makers in the building! Browse stalls, enjoy pizza from our friends 'The Slice is Right', have some drinks and chill in the garden.
Our layout will be a little bit different to usual – we’ll be creating a walk-around layout that guides people through different rooms (think about everybody’s fave Swedish home store). We’ll have different sections for homeware, plants, art, décor, fashion, food etc, that ends at the bar.

Date Like the 80s
Introducing a brand new dating experience for the swipe-fatigued. We’re taking things right back to the days before mobile phones, the internet and the apps to the 80s.
Expect: a drag host. DJ. Themed drinks. Icebreakers. Smooching is highly likely, and fun guaranteed!Groups and solo singles welcome. All you have to do is book your ticket/s.

Sustainable Fashion Takeover
We’re so excited to be partnering with ace local fashion designer Dr Karen Dennis (Ketchup Clothes) for a sustainable fashion takeover here at Left Bank! A full day of all things sustainable fashion, this takeover follows on from the book launch of The Anti-Capitalist Book Fashion by Tansy Hoskins on 29th of September.
It’s a chance for everyone to get creative and think more sustainably about the future of fashion. Explore up-cycling and revamping, learn how to use natural dye techniques with plant-based pigments, try out mending and creative darning sessions and more.

Prom Night with Jonny Strangeways
Jonny Strangeways is back for another epic 90s-themed Prom Night!
We’ll be kicking off with a short-but-sweet bingo session followed by all of 90s best. The final half hour will be slow dance smooching tunes (for all the lovers out there). Everyone is welcome — and we’ve got plenty of tables alongside the dance floor.
