(Ages 9+ Only) Screen Printing with Jenny & Bookmaking with Kat | Healthy Holidays for Kids

Healthy Holidays is back at Left Bank for a 2024 starting with 4 sessions throughout the Easter Holidays. For this session on the 4th we are calling all young aspiring artists!

This session is suitable for ages 9-14. Please do not book a ticket for younger children. Adults must stay on site at all times.  

Your child will start the day with an introduction to local artists Kat and Jenny, who will break the group up to explore the mediums of Bookmaking and Screen Printing. In this session, each child will get to make their own book with its own screen printed front cover with their own mini design!

This workshop will give your child a basic introduction to the mediums, and help them understand the art behind two specialist crafts. All materials are provided.  Your child will be provided with their lunch half way through the workshop at 11:30am.

One ticket will include the following:

  • A place on the three hour art boot camp exploring Bookmaking & Screen Printing with Jenny & Kat (10-11:30am & 12-1:30pm)
  • One hot meal at Lunch time (11:30-12pm)

Please book one ticket for each child attending the session. Do not book tickets for adults. This session is suitable for ages 9+ (Please do not book a ticket for younger children) if you have any babies/toddlers that wish to accompany elder children who are booked on to the session please feel free to bring them along. **This session is part of our Healthy Holidays programming, which is here to provide free and healthy activities for children during the school holidays. These sessions are funded and free for those children who are in receipt of free school meals. As such the majority of the tickets are available for children on FSM.

Additional free places are also available for children with SEND (but not in receipt of FSM). Please do not book these free tickets if you are not eligible for the Healthy Holidays program per the categories above.

In order to support everyone in our community and be inclusive of all families, additional tickets with a suggested donation have been provided for those who do not fall within these categories. Please do not book the free tickets if you are not eligible for the Healthy Holidays program per the categories above.**

Parents/careers must stay on site at all times. Parents are welcome to join in with the workshop and help with the craft activities, there will also be plenty of opportunity for a bit of relaxation, feel free to bring along a creative project or book while the kids are entertained. The Café will be open throughout the day, and we also have a Pay as you feel option on our menu if you fancy a spot of lunch!

PLEASE NOTE: We are happy for you to take photographs at our events, however, please be aware that not all parents and carers are comfortable with their children’s images being shared on social media for a variety of reasons. Please be mindful of this when sharing, thank you.
