AUTUMN EQUINOX SOUND BATH WITH GENTLE YOGA & LIVE HARP

As the Autumn Equinox carries us to more restful days, join Rosie and Georgie for an evening of gentle yoga, soothing sound, live harp and song.

A sound bath is a guided experience using therapeutic instruments such as crystal bowls and chimes to immerse participants in calming sound frequencies that help the body and mind to relax. These soothing vibrations promote deep rest, reduce stress, and support mental clarity.

Georgie Buchanan brings a unique and powerful approach to sound baths by weaving in live harp and song alongside singing bowls and chimes. Participants often describe this as a deeply moving and restorative experience, enhancing their ability to fully relax and reset.

“To be held, guided and bathed in the sweetest, soothing, healing music and song was simply divine and so nourishing” - Jen, Harp & Song Sound Bath participant

Georgie has been playing for yoga, movement and wellness classes for the past 10 years. She is passionate about the restorative qualities of music and she has developed Harp & Song Sound Baths to bring these benefits to wellness spaces around the UK. Georgie’s debut album Wise as a Fool has been played on BBC Radio Three and BBC 6 Music and she has performed sell out shows around the UK. Interweaving traditional melodies with original compositions, songs and stories, Georgie’s music speaks of a heartfelt connection with the inner wisdom of the body.

Since qualifying as a teacher, she has accumulated a further 140 hours of additional yoga training in Yin yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, Restorative, Meditation and Yoga Nidra. Rosie teaches a weekly class here at Left Bank.

Rosie says "Yoga has helped me through some really dark and difficult periods of my life and more generally helps me to manage stress and anxiety. I take a calm, therapeutic and inclusive approach to my classes and aim to help yogi's stretch, strengthen and celebrate the uniqueness of their bodies".
