We are super pleased to host Edeks Doodle Chat in 2026 for their annual showcase - this exhibition is a celebration of the incredible creativity and community that grow from our weekly sessions, and their sessions across Leeds. Bringing together artwork from past and present attendees in a huge celebration of the artists, makers, crocheters, modellers, writers, tinkerers, and everyone in between who make Doodle Chat such a vibrant and supportive space.

What is Doodle Chat?
Edek’s Doodle Chat is a relaxed, social, and welcoming group where anyone can come to doodle, create, chat, and connect. It’s a safe space to talk and listen, prioritise well-being, and build relationships through creativity. Bring along any creative activity you enjoy—or simply show up. Materials and inspiration are always available.

Facilitated by local community artist Edek Thompson, who uses his art practice to support his own mental health and well-being, Doodle Chat has become a hub of connection in Leeds—a city bursting with creativity.

What to Expect at the Exhibition
A colourful, eclectic display showcasing the creative practices of the Doodle Chat community. Expect artwork that reflects the spirit of togetherness, expression, and support that defines the group. This is your chance to see the breadth of talent within our community and celebrate the people who make Doodle Chat what it is.
