In celebration of WorldSculpture Day, which lands on the last Saturday of April we have invited theamazing Maja back to host some fab workshops! 

During this two-hour workshopyou will explore basic shapes, forms and space with Modroc and chicken wire inthe creation of your own sculpture!

This workshop is an introduction to basic 3D making with accessible materials which can be easily manipulated in many forms and shapes! With Maja assistance you will learn how the techniques to working in 3D, by first creating a base and layering Modroc to create different textures. 

No previous experience will beneeded to take part in this workshop - just a will to learn and have fun! 

Local Artist Maja, movedto Leeds from Slovenia in 2016, as an exchange student of BA VisualCommunications at Leeds Arts University. Working from her art studio in Leedssince, she exhibited and worked worldwide across sculpture, ceramics, paintingand installations.

All materials for this workshopwill be included, however please do wear clothes you don't mind getting messyand bring along a box or Tupper-ware to transport home your sculpture.
