🌀 Making Strange: A Surrealist Sculpture Workshop for Kids! 🎭
Get ready to twist, stack, glue, and transform! Join us for a playful, hands-on workshop where kids will explore surrealism by turning everyday objects into strange and wonderful sculptures.
This artist-facilitated session will be led by the lovely Phee, who’ll guide little ones through this creative, imaginative journey in a relaxed and welcoming space. Inspired by surrealist art, we’ll be bending the rules of reality—and having loads of fun doing it!
🔮 You’ll need to bring one everyday object (that you’re not precious about!) — this could be anything: a toothbrush, a rock, an old toy, a veggie… the weirder, the better!
👕 Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy — we’ll be using mixed materials, glue, and plenty of imagination.
🧑🎨 Parents must stay on site during the session.
☕ The café will be open for teas, coffees, and lunch, with a Pay-As-You-Feel (PAYF) option available.
🎟 Tickets
We’re a charity, and to help cover the cost of the artist and materials, we have paid tickets available. We also offer Pay-As-You-Feel (PAYF) tickets for those on low income, benefits, living with disabilities, or anyone who feels they can’t afford a full-price ticket.
If you're able, please consider donating what you can to help us keep these sessions accessible for everyone — your support means the world! 💚
