Join travel illustrator and sketchbook artist Amy McGurk for an evening of sketchbook practice!

Take away the pressure of deciding what to draw with a new theme each class. This workshop will include timed drawings with suggested ways of tackling each task and encouragement to fill a few pages of your sketchbook. Your sketchbook is a place for playing and experimenting with materials and themes, so there will be no perfect drawings. But you might find something new you didn't realise you liked to sketch, or just enjoy chatting to other artists and making a fun, creative mess.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who would love to devote more time to their sketch book, or anyone that can be daunted by the empty pages! Bring your own sketchbooks and materials to work with (there will be a limited selection of materials for you to borrow) and have fun making some artwork together with the encouragement of Amy. There will also be time to share your work at the end if you want to!

Our Café Bar will be open throughout the evening for light snacks and refreshments.
