Kids & Family Crafts | Make your own Bug Hotel!

Looking for something fun, free, and creative to do with the kids this summer? We’ve got you covered! Swing by Left Bank for a relaxed, family-friendly space where you and your little ones can get stuck into arts, crafts, and play—at your own pace.

This Monday join us for a Craft Activity: Make Your Own Bug Hotel!
This summer’s self-led craft is all about nature! We suggest heading out on a Burley Park nature walk beforehand to gather twigs, leaves, pinecones—anything that might make a cosy little home for bugs. Then pop into Left Bank to build your very own bug hotel using our materials and guided activity sheet.

💡 Please note:
This is a self-led session. All craft materials and a how-to guide will be available, but there won’t be a facilitator running the activity.

Why self-led?
Sadly, we don’t have funding for our kids' sessions this year, but we still wanted to offer something fun for families this summer. By keeping these sessions unfacilitated, we can still provide creative activities for the community.
We do have some brilliant facilitated sessions running on Tuesdays, so check our website or socials to see what’s on!

☕ The café will be open for drinks and snacks, so grab a cuppa while the kids craft away.

💛 Pay as you feel – your donations help keep our space running and cover the costs of materials, so we can continue offering free and low-cost activities for families. Please consider donating if you can!
